A tabletop drink dispenser working by gravity consists of a reservoir with a tap at its bottom, a cover on the reservoir and a base to hold the reservoir.

Used for beer but not only, these dispensers were already popular in America at the beginning of 20th century and the first models are now collectibles and very valuable items for auction sales.

With the development of plastic material and manufacturing technology, many new models were designed in the 1990s and many applicants applied for patents at that time.

More than 100 years after the first models, tabletop drink dispenser are now commonly named as “beer tube”, “beer tower”, “beer giraffe”, “jirafa de bebidas”, “beer bong”, “beer bazooka”, “beer booze”, “drink tower”, “girafe à bière”, “brewtender”…
